How many sets of keys should I provide the Car Shipping company?

U.S. Department of Transportationmandates that customers provide one set of keys for the vehicle, including the ignition, trunk, and glove box to the Vehicle Transport company.

Should I remove antennas before Vehicle Transport?

All antennas should all be either removed or lowered before Car Moving.

Should I wash my car before Vehicle Shipping?

Please ensure that your vehicle is washed before you Moving your vehicle to or from Alaska . A clean vehicle is best suited for inspection to determine any preexisting damage before Car Shipping.

What should I do about car alarms on my vehicle?

Make sure that you turn off all alarms before Shipping. If the vehicle needs special instructions to start, simply inform the Car Shipping dispatcher. Our policy is similar to other companies, we are not responsible for any drained batteries or other mechanical problems resulting if the alarm was not turned off before Car Moving.

What should be done with my racks my vehicle?

All racks that were not permanently attached to the car should be removed before Vehicle Shipping.

What if my vehicle has damage before Vehicle Transport?

Car Shipping will not be held responsible for pre-existing nicks, scratches, chips, cracks, or other existing damage on the vehicle before Auto Transporting.

How should I prepare my vehicle for the cold weather?

You will need to prepareyour car for all climates.Make sure that all fluids are checked and filled. Any damage caused by an act of God(weather related), Car Shipping will not be responsible for.

What about the spoiler on my car?

Spoilers, fairing, air dams or other loose items should be removed. If not removed, we at Car Shipping are not responsible for any damaged items.

Can I put personal items in the vehicle?

By law, Car Moving's are not permitted to transport personal belongings of any kinds. By violating this law, Car Shipping can be fined up to $10,000 per occurrence. In addition, if you were to place things in the car, they would not be covered by insurance and all the damages made to the items is not the responsible.

Pickup/Delivery Locations

Make sure the locations for pickup and delivery are truck accessible. This way the trucks can easily move around without damaging other cars that are still left on the trailer.
